Who we are
A workshop platform, not a lecture library
Partnersapex started in 2016 from a straightforward frustration: existing legal education gave people theory without practice. Participants could recite custody principles but freeze when filling out the actual paperwork.
Every course on this platform is structured around assignments, not slides. You read a scenario, you respond to it, you get feedback — and then you do it again with a harder version. That repetition is deliberate.
The subject matter — family law essentials — covers divorce proceedings, custody arrangements, asset division, and protective orders. These are situations people encounter unprepared, and preparation genuinely changes outcomes.

The people behind it
Practitioners who also teach
Orla Feeney leads the curriculum at Partnersapex. She spent years working directly on contested custody cases before moving into legal education — which means the scenarios in our workshops come from things that actually happened, not from textbook hypotheticals.
The rest of the team includes instructors with backgrounds in mediation, asset valuation, and court procedure. No one here teaches from pure theory. Each module is reviewed by someone who has sat across a table from a client in the exact situation being described.
